Canoe and kayak rentals are available. Two trails lead from campground around shores of lake, where you will find a wide variety wildlife.

The park located 120 km north-by-northwest of the community of Dease Lake near BC Highway 37 (the Stewart-Cassiar Highway). Boya Lake is named for Charlie Boya, a First Nations man from the area.

Starting from Boya Lake Provincial Campground, Lakeshore Trail is an easy trail along the edge of Boya Lake north of the campground. There are interpretative signs with information about the surrounding area. Explore Lakeshore Trail to the southeast of the campground to view an impressive beaver dam!

About a 10 minute drive in and our first spotting was of a beautiful green and blue lake. Camping spots along the lake. Clean and well constructed with a fire pit and a great view. We enjoyed our lunch as we watched a canoeist. He/she hugged the shoreline across from us and disappeared into a cove.

Boya Lake Campground. Boya Lake Campground is the only RV friendly campground at the park and is located right next to the beautiful lake. The campground has 44 sites that are a mixture of pull-through and standard sites that are well spaced, offer great privacy and feature easy access to the lake. All sites are primitive so there are no water.
